NYC Tightens Leash on Dog Laws

Enrique, as an animal welfare advocate and animal rescuer I do not support breeding, not even the most responsiblĀe of responsiblĀe breeding. I understand why you called me biased and I don’t disagree, this is after all a blog, which expresses my opinion. Until the homeless rate and euthanasia rates are down in this country, I stand vehemently against breeding of any kind. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment.

I am not totally against breeding, but only if you’re responsible. It just depends on the person. If you can take care of the animals and ensure that each of your puppies goes to a loving home, then I think breeding might be OK in some cases. But not to make money.

Hi DP… until the euthanasia rate is brought down drastically in this country, I stand opposed to breeding. Breeding, 9 times out of 10, is done for money in this country. It’s the sad truth. ~Ree
